THANKFUL TUESDAY

I remembered it is Tuesday, my day to be thankful and share it with all of you. It has been such a full week with so much I am thankful for that a list hardly seems adequate.
but.......I will try to list...
I'm thankful for /and about
1. safe trip to San Antonio and that we all could come as a family and support Jon
2. that Jon is doing so well
3. Jon's excellence in his basic training
4. San Antonio and all that we were able to do
5. the really nice hotel
6. safety in all our travel around the city
7. the faithfulness of God when we call upon His name, and for showing this reality to Jon over and over during these last few weeks

I think that the scripture says it best right now:
Psalm 100
"Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
Serve the LORD with gladness;
come before His presence with singing.
Know that the LORD, He is God;
it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving, into his His
courts with praise, be thankful to Him, and bless
His name.
For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting,
and His truth endures to all generations. "
