ON THE ROAD....Mt. Rushmore or bust....

" How long till we get to the hotel?" Asked Cole from the back seat. We had been on the road for probably one hour in total, and hadn't got to Fort Collins, Colorado.
"Well, I'm estimating about 6 more hours." I responded
That was the first time he asked, and towards the end he was asking about once every ten minutes.
Early this morning, Cole, Sage, and I loaded up and headed for South Dakota. We were going to Mount Rushmore.
We arrived about 3:00 P.M. and are staying tonight in Keystone, South Dakota at the foot of Mount Rushmore.
After a dip in the pool, dinner and dairy queen we have settled down to read and then to bed. Sage is setting the alarm as I write this. I"m not sure why the alarm except he wants to see if it works. Hopefully it won't go off until morning.
Tomorrow it is Mount Rushmore , and I will try my best to get you pictures.
