How Was Your Weekend?

Hope that you all had a good fourth of July weekend. We spent it in Nebraska.

It was a relaxing and fun time with Sage and Cole.

Some thoughts on the weekend....

OUTSIDE MY WINDOW.....the sun is shining, the sky is deep blue with puffy white clouds.

I AM THINKING....that its not too hot, a perfect day for Nebraska

I AM THANKFUL....for the extra days I spent here alone with the boys, I came early

I AM WEARING...old sweat carpi's and a T Shirt

I AM READING....Let the Nations Rejoice..by John Piper

I AM HOPING....that it doesn't rain tonight so we can do firecrackers

I AM HEARING.....the birds chirping outside

AROUND THE HOUSE....I have been cleaning and throwing stuff away

IN THE KITCHEN.....Art is cooking a pork roast in the crock pot...smells mighty good

ONE OF MY FAVORITES.....this is the season for watermelon and corn on the cob, we will be having both for dinner

CHRISTMAS and all around the world
the Stapletons are celebrating the birth of our Lord.

The presents are wrapped, the cookies are baked, the food's in
the cooler already to take.

Jon has to work, the movies won't wait..
A & K to Joannes, Joe and Fam. to Grandma D's.
Erik is preaching the word to the Tannanese.
The kids are excited; just one present please??
