Short Update....

For anyone who is wondering, I still don't have my computer. I guess I didn't realize how much I liked having my own stuff in one spot. I MISS IT.
Anyway, for family that is it...
I'm on my way to Denver I will try and post pictures of Chloe from someplace, going to have some girl time with my mom, sisters, and niece. :)  Des and Di flying in.
We went to an auction this weekend. I will post pictures and tell you about it later.
Leaving Art here for a few days, but I think he is going to follow to see Di and Chloe, I can't know for sure he is pretty settled here and gas is over $4.50 a gallon.

I'm back, well sorta...

Maybe you are wondering were I've been all week? Well you are not alone, I've been wondering the same thing. I got home to my sweet husband,slept and slept some more, and then my computer broke, crashed, went capoot. It has been diagnosed that my hard drive is gone. Really? my computer is 14 months old. Yep the warranty expired 2 months ago and silly me did not renew it.Anyway it is an HP if you care. I'm using Art's computer. I'm thankful, but it's kinda hard using someone else s stuff, I'm used to the feel of my own. 
This morning I had to relent because I had two writing assignments I needed to get in and my machine won't be back til next week.   
Along with those writing assignments I was to send a picture, now all my pics are on my computer so I asked Art if he had any of me.

Our conversation went something like this:

"Of course I have pictures of you. Let me find one." 
Art opened his pictures, and after looking for a while, he said," What? did you erase all your pictures?" 
"No, of course not," I responded. 


"Wait I found one." 
"Here you are in your elk suit." 
"Ha,Ha. just kidding."

"Wait there you are in your woooly outfit." 

Smile...

"Just kidding." 

"Well were are your pictures?  I gotta have some." 

"Wait here you are in your cat suit."

Seriously....

See what I have to put up with. 

Anyhow....

After much searching and downloading 1000 pictures this is what we came up with. 

Who cares that I'm two years younger and probably 10 lbs lighter at least we found one. 

I just want my computer back.

Looking Back on My Week...

It has been a busy week...

Chloe Marie was born one week ago today...

I stayed to help Jon and Alex, and Art went home to Nebraska. 

I took a few dozen  pictures of my baby girl this week...
                                         and here is just one of them.

I baked banana bread this week
I cleaned the kitchen,
I caught up the laundry,
I got up with baby a few times in the night. 
I declared again my love for Colorado weather...it was 50 degrees today...Nice..
I got my hair highlighted for the first time. 
I lamented that I was going to miss seeing Chloe whenever I go back to Nebraska.
I made it to one estate sale this week...I found a few nice books. 
I shooed Bentley away from baby a few times, but he's getting much less curious now. 
I remembered my past, probably because I became a great grandma, caused me to ponder about what is important for the remainder of my life. 
I prayed for Whitney Houston's family..How sad they must be tonight. 
I was amazed at some of things they make for babies to make life easier for parents.
I thanked God that He is God and I am not... and for His many blessings...
I called Heather a few times this week to see if she was in labor yet..as of tonight she is NOT, and she is not real happy about it... 
I helped to give baby her first bath today. 
I worked on my crochet this week instead of knitting.
I finished reading a small memoir book written about someones Grammy. 
I appreciated having the dishwasher again..I do dishes by hand in Nebraska 
I Skyped with Erik and Michele this week...
I declared that babies are lots of work..
I bought and nibbled on a trail mix of pepitas, soy nuts, sunflower kernels, cranberries, dates and raisins...pretty tasty...Steph told me about it. 
I talked to Art at least 10 times today... 
I didn't send out any valentines this year. I have no excuse really.
I decided to go to bed early and tomorrow starts a new week...
                              GooDNiGhT!!!

Hello Baby....

All snuggled in and ready to go see the doctor. 

I knit the cocoon and now I have a new model.

Okay, I admit it I forgot it was Monday. 
Must be sleep deprivation helping out with my new baby great granddaughter:) 
So here is my list, and it has to do with LOVE...
Maybe cause it's Valentines Day. 
I need to hurry though I hear baby squeaking and I sent mom back to bed. 
so here goes:
