Give Thanks....

I have been working on being a more thankful person. I cannot very well tell my grand kids or others that they should be thankful when I don't practice what I preach.
TODAY I WAS THANKFUL FOR:
1. an early morning phone call from my niece
2. a hot shower with lots of water
3. for my husband who loves me, and tells me often all day long
4. McDonalds coffee
5. that Art found his phone
6. my Tues. morning Bible Study
7. The Bible
8. my little sister who loves me
9. text messaging
10. the flower baskets that Art planted yesterday
11. that it is raining and not snowing today
12. that Joe's workers showed up this morning
13. that my teenage grand kids care about and are willing to listen to what I have to say
14. fast food when I am in a hurry
15. that the LORD is near to the broken hearted Ps. 34:18
16. tears
17. Toby's smile
18. that Cole was happy to see me today
19. that even though gas is $3.79, I am able to find it and buy it if I want too
20. that I can afford to fill my tank
21. the smell of the "lily of the valley" in my front yard
22. my new mattress

"It is good to give thanks to the LORD
