A Real Tea Party

Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, I had such a fun afternoon.

I was invited to a grown up girls tea party.

"Sounds like a chick fest," said Art.
" Exactly, and the food was so yummy," I responded.

Stephanie's church had this fun party for the women. There were about 15 hostesses and each one decorated her table any way she wanted making each table different and unique.

Steph used her noritake china that she has had since she was 13. This was her first time to use it. Can't imagine why she hasn't before now with those 4" hard on everything they touch" boys.

It is a white china with an embossed blue rose and a silver rim. It is simple and delicate.
"It's called virtue," said Steph.
" That is a wierd name for a china pattern, but it really seems to fit."

The menu was salad, sandwhiches and desert bar with a chocolate fountain, and each table had little welsh sugar cookies.

Our speaker was a welsh lady from the church, and she shared her testimony with us along with the books she has written about her family.

Thank you for asking me Steph, I had a great time.
