It was easy and quick,(my kind of recipe) and so chocolatey and gooey with just an aftertaste of hot.
CHIPOTLE FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
10oz. of semisweet chocolate
7 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 large eggs/room temp.
1 Cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
dash of cayenne pepper
pinch of salt
powdered sugar for dusting/ optional
1. Preheat oven to 350 line bottom of a 9 1/2 inch springform pan with a circle of parchment or waxed paper. Grease with butter or nonstick spray the sides of parchment.
2.Melt chocolate and butter together in microwave stirring occasionally until smooth. Takes very little time. don't burn.
3. Whisk together the eggs and the sugar in large bowl and then slowly a little at time
whisk in the melted chocolate. add salt spices, and taste adjust as needed.
4. Pour into the springform pan and bake 22-25 mins. or until toothpick comes out clean
let cool completely on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
