A FOUNTAIN....

The Purpose: A fun bath for the birds, and the sound of a running brook to enjoy while sitting on the deck.

UPDATE ON THE RACOON SITUATION: Conversation that took place while we all sat and watched the new toy.

"You know that they make fountains with lights in them. That would be pretty cool, huh?" said Art.

"I wanted a fountain for the corner of my room, but mom said no," said Sage.

"She said it would be to messy."

"I told her that I might go to sleep easier with that sound. She still said no."

"Maybe a little one would be better, I said, By the way where are we with the racoon situation?" I asked.

"Only saw 4 last night," said Sage.

"I have made the bird feeders racoon proof. See they are hanging off of those tiny poles, no way they can climb up them," said Art with a satified smile.

"Grandpa's gone soft," said Sage.

"No, we just can't go around killing little tiny animals." said Art.

" We will let it go until I see one of them running around with red feathers coming out of its mouth."

"What about if they dump over your new fountain?" asked Sage.

"Well, that might do it," responded Art.
