Stephanie and Joe have been working on a job together and I have been babysitting Toby. We have had several days...Just him and me...bonding...having fun.
Today was a perfect fall day in the country. A slight cool breeze , bright blue skywith puffy clouds building in the East.
"Heh Toby, You want to go outside?" I asked.
He responded by grabbing his shoes and crawling into my lap. Shoes on he opened the front door while he toddled and tumbled onto the sidewalk.
"Da, Da," he squealed running to greet his dogs at the kennel. He wiggled his little fingers through the fence and laughed as the dogs greeted him by jumping up and down.
He quickly turned his attention to his little red wagon.
" Want to ride,Toby?" I asked. He clapped his hands, and started to climb head first over the side. I rescued and settled him in the seat.
I started down the hill to get the newspaper. It was an easy trek down, but not so easy coming up .
"Oh oH," said Toby as I dragged him up the hill. "Oh,oH, is right," I responded. I wonder how he knows I thought to myself.
"Pain,Pain," he said pointing to the sky. I looked up to see a plane.
"Yes, airplane." I said. He smiled.
Toby climbed out of the wagon and brought me a box of chalk.
Good Idea lets draw pictures on the driveway.
Just him and me...bonding....having fun.
