VAILWeek

I"m sitting here by the pool in Vail.
It is a warm fall day with blue sky and puffy white clouds. (love the Colorado clouds. )

The aspens are changing, but there is still lots of green leaves around. It looks like a quilt on the mountain. I left Jon and Art up in the room lamenting about the Bronco game. There is 8 mins. left and they are loosing. Hopefully that will change or it could be a dismal afternoon of complaining if they don't pull off one of "those lucky wins."

Sage and Cole are swimming. There is another couple in the pool. Right now they are looking long and lovingly at one another, speaking in quiet tones, holding hands as Sage splashes around them and Cole jumps in and out practically on top of them.Let's see how long this lasts. Oopps, they are moving to the other end of the pool.

"Grandma, Cole just threw my 35 dollar snorkel into the pool," shouts Sage.
"I did not, he is chasing me, help me, help me."

The boys love coming here. They get to stay until Tuesday this year. I don't think that it is the peace and quiet or the leaves that they love the best, but the endless snacks, T.V. with DVD playing in their own bedroom ,swimming pool, and game room that they like the best.

"Grandma, Grandma, will you take me to the hot tub? I can't go without you." calls Cole.
"Grandma, Grandma....."

Well I guess I'll go do that and stop the game that's turned into a wrestling match complete with shouting and punching. Might give the couple at the end of the pool some peace. He's massaging her back now... Did I mention he is about 65 and she is about 35? I digress. I'm glad the kids are to busy to notice.

Bronco's lost...Jon just threw his hat my way as he is jumping into the pool.

I need to go referee....
