Going to Zoo lights was exceptionally fun this year. We picked what was to be the warmest day of the week, but when we walked out the back door it was snowing like crazy.
At that point we chose to ignore the reality of the situation and go with the weather report thus we continued downtown to the zoo.
Within an hour the snow had stopped and it was a beautiful warm night. I think that my camera captured some of the beauty.

"I am the light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."
John 8:12
It must have been exciting and overwhelming for those who understood that moment, the angels, shephards and Joseph and Mary. They knew that a Great Light had penetrated the darkness of eternity. The Saviour had been born.
There is a Christmas song that says: and God sent His Son and said 'Let there be light'.
I pray that your Christmas will shine with the Light Of Truth, that the Saviour has been born for all mankind.

I was just telling some friends of ours Sunday night about the last time I went to the zoo lights...do you remember that year? It was FREEZING! :)
Katie, yes I remember how cold it was. I think that was the last time I went. It was warmer this time.
How is your weather now?
We are snow tonight, and cold....
