What Time Is It?

Does anyone else care that our time is going to change yet again? It is time to change our clocks ahead one hour.
I absolutely hate loosing my hour, and I never feel secure or on time until I get it back.
Did you know that Daylight Savings Time was started in 1907 by an English builder named William Willet? At the time, he decided that he needed more afternoon daylight time to enjoy his golf game. I think that
Mr. Willet was behind the times because morning light is the best time of the day to get things done.

You have heard the old say, " Early to bed , early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise."
Benjamin Franklin said this back in his time, and I have to agree with him.

I try not to remind myself from time to time all day long that tomorrow morning I will wake in the dark again.
The Saturday before this unbearable time change always feels like a marathon to me. Not that I have run in one so I would know, but I am guessing that until the race is over you feel like you are running against time, and that is exactly how I feel all day long.
Time and time again during the day, I remind myself that I need to hurry and get this or that done because there is not as much time in this day as yesterday.

Maybe it is high time that I take a time out and get a grip. I mean how bad can it be. It just means that there will be less time to eat tomorrow and that will help my diet.
There will be less time to exercise so I don't have to feel guilty when I don't go .
And there will be less time to make time to get my house clean. See I won't have to take the time to feel discouraged cause its not getting done on time.

So for the time being I will just have to go along with it, I have no choice. Then in no time at all it will be Fall again and I will get my hour back and all will be right with the world. If only for a short time.

Karen, this is so funny. I Love daylight savings!!!Wish it was year round. I was looking forward to it all week. Then, Sunday morning rolled around, I looked at the clock...7 a.m. Wow, how did I get up so early? Realized the mistake, rushed like crazy, still made it to church on time!
