Vanuatu Time... Or South Pacific Time.

The people on this side of the world go by their own time. They call it "not white man's time."
Being "on time" doesn't matter to them, and they don't seem to mind when a 10 minute task takes an hour.
Since I am sooo opposite of this , I find that I have to ignore when things are not going my way and go with whatever is happening. So when we were leaving Fiji yesterday, and because of the line it took an hour to reach the ticket counter, and then the computers went down so that we stood for an hour longer, giving us time to meet all kinds of new people. Only to have our 12:10 flight get moved to 12:40 until it got cancelled completely, so that we were then routed to Honiara in the Solomon Islands, and from there went on to Vanuatu, finally arriving at 8:00p.m. last night,
I looked at it all as an adventure, and I was just thankful that I arrived at all with my luggage.
Yes we made it and the whole family was there to greet us....
I have spent the day marveling that I am actually here, on the other side of the world, and thanking God for this time.
