It's been a busy week in the family and I have guest writers to tell you all about it.

Hello, I'm Richard, Karen's brother here to announce the birth of a very special baby.
As a new grandfather I'm happy to announce the birth of Samantha Capri Landis. Samantha was born on July 14th in Everett, Washington (a burb of Seattle). Samantha's mom Heather, spent 19 grueling hours in labor before Samantha introduced herself to the world.

I'm happy to say that mom, baby and dad are going great. All are home and getting settled.
Samantha's father Dale, was a huge comfort to Heather throughout the birth process. Also,
Heather's mother Beth was a tremendous help. John, Heather's brother, was also in the birthing room offering encouragement. Samantha, was a whopping 9 pounds, 11oz
and 22 inches long. Personally, I thought she looked like me, Papa Richey. Just kidding.
Politically speaking, she looked like both families! The special thing with this baby is that Heather was told from early in life that she probably would experience great difficulty having any babies.. The great thing is that throughout the entire pregnancy Heather experienced minimal problems. From the start, it has been obvious that God's hand and blessing have been surrounding Heather, Dale and Samantha. Truly, God has special plans for this baby!
