The Very Hungry Caterpillar...

Is this not the coolest Caterpillar you have ever seen?

Grandpa found it on the berry bush in Nebraska...


This guy was not eating pickles, or cupcakes, or salami, but he could put away the leaves. He would eat them as fast as Cole put them in his cage.
"Cole what shall we name him?" I asked.
"How about Turd worm?" He responded with a snicker.
" I can't put that on my blog."
"It wouldn't work anyway cause he's not brown."
"True, so what?"
"How about Chuckie?"
"Did you say Chunkie? He is that," I said
"No, Chuckie, I like that name, " said Cole.



Let me introduce you to Chuckie. He lives in Kiowa, Colorado now. Cole's plan is to keep him alive and see if he makes a cocoon and becomes a beautiful butterfly.
He would make some butterfly huh?
