I was sitting here trying to figure out what day it is. We have been so busy shopping, eating, driving, and generally having a good time that I really didn't know, but I do know that it is hot.
Santa Fe had a welcoming coolness, but here it is just plain heat hot. They are going to have a cool down this weekend with a few scattered showers. The cooler temps will be around 107, seriously.
Regrettably we will miss it, but Jon will be here to enjoy the cool front.
We went to Cabellas today, yes, they have one here, and it is a big one. They even have a wildlife museum that is filled with the stuffed animals that they are so famous for. I saw my bear,and he was a big one he was trying to eat the long horned sheep. Jon found a chair that he has been looking for and it had a deer running across it. It will remind him of home so Art got it for him.
Art and Jon got haircuts yesterday for some reason they decided to get it done at Wal-Mart. I suppose I don't need to say much more than that, but Art's is so short that when we look at one another we just start laughing. He told the girl to trim it. She used a razor to trim it.
Good thing his hair grows fast. I did not realize how thin he is getting on top until yesterday.
My hair turned gray overnight on this trip. :)
Okay its been a few weeks since I colored it and I just saw how much gray was gathering at the temples so I took the time to color it. Art and I are looking styling. No gray and no hair... Jon wanted his shorter. Things obviously got mixed up.
We went to the rain forest cafe for lunch. It kinda reminds me of Vanuatu, the vines and fish.
I doesn't smell like the South Pacific though we all commented on that fact.
I have been twittering on my phone. Don't know why since no one reads them, and no one cares. I still like the word twitter. Jon and Erin love twittering.
I have decided what I really need is a face book page.
Art and I will be heading out tomorrow...
Leaving Jon here, he is excited.
Not sure what direction we will be going, well actually we will be going North for sure, but we haven't decided what route to take. Any way we go will have to be cooler. Heard that it is really cool at home...Fall is in the air there.
We are at the pool, the only place that brings some relief besides the air conditioned room, though the water must be 100 degrees. Art is talking to a little girl about the flowers and bugs in the pool.
Gotta go pack... and fold laundry How come there is so much laundry when one is on vacation?
