The doctor in Vila took x rays that showed no apparent reason for his symptoms. Not knowing what to do and trying to prevent the same circumstances as before he told Erik and Michele to take Joel to USA or Australia.
They decided to fly Michele and Joel here to us. What an unexpected surprise, they arrived on Tues. evening and we have been moving non stop ever since.
We have seen doctors at Children's Hospital ,and after more x -rays, that showed nothing of significance, they have decided to do a bone scan tomorrow.
So we head to the hospital early and hope to be done by afternoon.
Meanwhile we have done lots of shopping ( I am sending all my Christmas presents back with Michele, and the skirts I have been making for the little girls in the village).
In spite of the circumstances, I have enjoyed every minute having them both here.
Joel has experienced lots of FIRSTS this week.
- first bath
- first trip to walmart
- first experience with snow
- first pair of tennis shoes
- first car seat and seat belt
- first time at grandma and grandpa's that he can remember .....Just to name a few......

I love hearing about his firsts. You should shoot some pics of his reactions. They are in our prayers. Please keep us updated. We love you all
