How amazing three generations of Bible Teachers came to town and we had the privilege of attending their conference.
Kay Arthur, Beth Moore, Pricilla Shirer .
It was held at the DU event center and around 5000 people attended.
It was fun to go with Des and Michele.
I guess you could say that we had two generations of Bible learners together.
I thought I would share with you some of the things taught.
HOW DO WE GET PAST SHATTERED DREAMS?
1. God is Sovereign
2. God is Love.
3. God watches over His Word to Preform It.
4. God has a plan
5. God wounds and God heals.
6. God is behind calamity.
7. The end of it all is glory because life is temporal.
The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.Ps.126:3
We are a blessed people.
The word blessed in the N.T.
Biblically one is pronounced blessed when God is present and involved in their lives.
There are 8000 promises in the Bible. Most of them God does not give immediately to us but they involve a process of cooperation and commitment on our part in order for us to experience them.

I could go on and on, but quite honestly I'm to exhausted.
Erik and Michele left on Sunday morning. They are are now in Dallas Texas, and I have brought Des and the girls to Nebraska. We are going to hang out today and may not get dressed.
I promised to teach the girls how to play Rummikub, and a movie or two sounds good.
Bring out the food and the knitting.
