Summer Daze...

I feel like I'm in a daze.
What month is it?
Can't be July.
That would mean that the middle of summer is upon us.
Okay, I'm convinced if I look around me,

it's hot,the days are lighter longer, my grand children are out of school, the pool is open, the trees are covered with green leaves, the flowers are blooming, and last but not least my calendar says its so.

I can't tell you when it all happened, guess cause I've been so busy it kinda went by me.

I still have lots of plans for my summer.
I'm cleaning out my house and planning another garage sale. At least it won't be snowing outside this time.

I want to take a writing class, and do some extra writing.

I want to spend some time with my grand kids.
A couple of weeks in Nebraska would be good though highly unlikely.

I have a couple of books I want to finish.
I have a summer Bible Study going.

We are going to Chicago to visit Erik and Michele, we might take the train home.

I have several hats planned in my mind to knit.

I'm going to clean out my china cabinet.

I have skirts to make for Michele and Sierra before they leave in January.

Figure out Facebook.

Just a few of the things I want to get done.
I'm out of my daze and into the days of July.

Yesterday we ran into another summer reminder, a farmers market.

The flowers were beautiful and for sale....

The produce was scarce, the Colorado growing season has just begun,
but we found the important
stuff, this roll was one of
best sticky buns I've ever had.
We shared...
My diet is still on my agenda also.

Not much more going on here...
What about the rest of you, how are you going to spend the rest of your summer?
