Do You Remember Chuckie?

Here is where our story began. Do You Remember Chuckie?That's the name Cole gave our caterpillar we found last July.
He was the fattest, cutest little guy I've ever seen.
When he found Chuckie,Cole would feed him leaves and he would eat and eat and eat...
He was a very hungry caterpillar.
Cole decided to put Chuckie in a little box and see if he would build a cocoon.
I have to admit that much to my surprise he did just that. It was amazing to see that tiny cocoon contained our huge caterpillar.
Over the months there were several times we thought our Chuckie was dead.
Stephanie consulted a caterpillar expert who told us to leave him alone that it takes a very long time for caterpillars to become beautiful butterflies.
So they did, left him alone that is.
Months have gone by around 11 to be exact.
