I started this post last night to bring you up to date on my great niece Danielle.
This is the sweet baby girl born with the cleft palate, but as I was working to get her most
recent picture on I got a phone call from her mom asking me to pray for her sister.
Samantha is her 20 month old big sister.
She had been sick all day and her symptoms were serious enough they were taking her to the emergency room.
I was so sad....
Heather, my niece, has had her days full with a colicky Danielle.
and this was not good news, but one more hard thing for her and Dale to deal with.
Big sister, Samantha
Long story short, after testing late into the night, they diagnosed Samantha with a serious infection.
I spent a few sleepless hours, last night, praying for this little one.
Early this morning Heather called to give me an update.
Samantha was showing none of the symptoms she had yesterday. Instead she seemed to be fine, and the docs had decided that the test results were a false positive.
What a relief...
I was so thankful to hear the good news.
Samantha seemed to be her old self, and had the docs a bit puzzled, but they dismissed her and sent her home.
Amazing how quickly things can change from good to bad, back to good from bad.
NOW, for The excellent news about Danielle.
Her mouth NAM is working quite well. She is down to 5MM.
I am amazed at how much she has changed.
They will be putting the nose stints in next week to shape her nose.
She will be ready for surgery in just a few weeks.
Tonight..I'm thankful to God for His mercy, and for his blessing on these two sweet little ones.
Now if Danielle would stop crying and Heather could get some sleep:)
Looking good Huh?
