Hallelujah ....

Low in the grave He lay, Jesus My Saviour.
Waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave He arose;
With a mighty triumph o' er His foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
and He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He Arose! He Arose! HALLELUJAH Christ Arose!

Death cannot keep its prey, Jesus my Saviour;
He tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose;
with a mighty triumph o'er His foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
He lives forever with His saints to reign,
He Arose! He Arose!
Hallelujah!
Christ Arose!

Robert Lowry, 1826-1899

I love Easter, the music and the message brings joy and peace in a exciting way.
Along with the picture of Christ's triumph over the grave and death, is Spring and the newness it brings.
It's a good time.
This year we spent it in the mountains at Grandma Debbies house.
It didn't feel much like Spring, snowing all the way up the hill..

We had Sage and Cole with us, and met Debbie for church.
We went to her Methodist church in Central City.

Saint James is the oldest Protestant congregation in Colorado and the oldest Protestant church building still being used as a church..
The entire building was built at a cost of $35,000 and was dedicated on July 22,1872.
The front of the church had a huge organ rising from floor to ceiling and had beautiful sound.
It was fun to see such beauty and enjoy the history of the place.

Later we met and had a smoked ham dinner, colored eggs, and had an Easter egg hunt.

Fun Day....
