Last month I went to Seattle to visit my niece, and her family.
I was only there a week, and we were really busy.
Remember those beautiful daughters she has?
This is Samantha who had her two year old birthday party while I was there.
I digress...that's the Mickey mouse club song for you youngsters that don't know.
Just for Sam.
We had a picnic outdoors with burgers, brats, and mickey mouse cupcakes.
My very favorite was the chocolate fountain with strawberries, but have you ever
had gummi bears dipped in chocolate?
MMMMM....
Besides eating, everyone got to swim, play games, and open presents of course....lots and lots of presents.
Great time had by all...

Just before I arrived she had her first surgery.

She still has a long road ahead of her this was only the first of many surgeries, but she has that beautiful smile that her mother was praying for.
A blessing indeed....
