TODAY I:Got up at 6a.m.
Checked my e-mail, bookstore and packed up a book I sold.
TODAY THE: weather was cool a perfect day
to work outside..
TODAY I: checked
my peeps and
they are getting
bigger.They were up
moving and eating.
We have a chicken book for instruction,
and we have Bob and Barb....
Art's brother and his wife, who
have raised chickens to
give us pointers
without Barb's wisdom
we wouldn't have ever known that
it is important to check their
little chicken butts. If they get
plugged they can die.
Seriously...
TODAY I: didn't check chicken butts
but I made Art do it.
Sure enough we needed to use
the baby wipes.. Nice job Art
because of your courage
they will live another day.
TODAY I:started working on the garden
area.
cleaned out before we can
plant all those vegtables.
for those of you who can't
believe I'm
working in the yard.
Actually I can't believe it
myself. Maybe I'll print
this.
TODAY I: helped Art put up the fence
posts for the chicken run in front
of the coop.
Okay,I held the posts while
Art did all the work.
TODAY I:did my best to keep Art under control...
If he was honest he'd tell you
that he's attempting
to build a chicken castle.
I'm the voice of reason.
TODAY I:picked a big bouquet of
lilacs for my table..
can't you just smell them?
TODAY I:cooked dinner while Art went turkey
hunting. Look what he brought home.
This guy weighs 15lbs.
Tomorrow he will cook turkey dinner.
TODAY I:made Art watch dancing with the
stars & he went to bed
early.
