I AM SCOOP

I am unhappy happy to announce that I Am not superwoman...
and since I am not superwoman I can't do it all. I have had several blog spots dancing around in my head all week, but you are going to get the condensed version of all of them.


I Am enjoying having Cole and Toby here. Cole has been busy making small and large projectile projects from pens and PVC tubing. Some of them work and some of them end up on my living room floor in pieces, but the boy is relentless in his pursuit to make the perfect weapon. He has his grandfather involved which is a good thing for when they misfire because at least Art has them pointed in the right direction. 

Toby continues to swim with the catch of the day. Here it is a frog. Though I have 
set some limits on how long things can be in the pool with him. Well actually I Am saying no more little animals because I have to clean the pool constantly and that is lots of work, 
But he spends hours in the pool and I spend hours sitting on the porch watching him. 


I Am being over run by 

cucumbers and 

squash. We have canned 41 jars of pickles and relish this week. Seriously....
Four loaves of zucchini bread. Today I am taking a day off of canning and baking. 
I found a great recipe for chocolate zuch bread. I will put it on this week. 


I Am still enjoying my chickens and turkeys, but those babies are getting big. The bigger they get the more waste they produce, and the more work the coop cleaning is, but I Am 
proud to say I Am the primary coop cleaner and enjoying it. 

I Am still waiting for an artichoke to appear on my beautiful plant, but in the meantime I am enjoying the flowers that Art planted as a surprise. Glads, they remind me of my grandma Holt she loved to plant these. 

I Am missing my Chloe but plan to spend a few days with her next week when I take the boys home. She is as cute as ever. I am thankful for the many pictures that her Grandma Debbie, mom and dad send me. 
Don't worry baby girl, Great Grandma is a coming.....

I Am happy to say that we got the boys hooked on Auctions. Well especially Cole... 

Toby gets bored fast,  look at that hat and face, he is to cute. We have gotten some great finds over the last two weekends. 

I Am done now...I have more to say, but time is a wasting. Gotta go clean the coop.
