TODAY ....

 My sunflowers finally bloomed....
wahoo..I love sunflowers I would have a field of them if I could

TODAY....
my girls are still laying eggs, but they are having some issues

rather than lay in the nest we found these under the porch in the window well...

 they will find themselves staying in the coop tomorrow
we can't have them laying eggs anyplace they feel like it....


TODAY...
it was in the 100's again and the turkeys hid under the porch to keep cool as they continue 
to get fat.....

TODAY....
there was a salamander in my bath tub. 
This little guy disappeared a few days ago and showed up night before last climbing up my wall..

TODAY....
Art picked more cucumbers, and we made more pickles...

I think we are up to about 60 jars


TODAY...
I made Art banana ice cream....
we had pork chops and fresh corn for dinner...
it rained ...
and I packed my bags 
because TOMORROW 
I'm heading out again, this time to Ohio to see my niece and her girls...
Yea...I'm excited.
