Let's Paint...

I have been crazy busy this month with work, so to have Alex and Chloe come visit for a few days has been a treat for me.
Nothing better than coming home to that sweet smiling face greeting me at the door.

On one of my days off I thought it would be fun to do some hand painting with Chloe.
I had visions of a cute little picture with handprint flowers and butterflies that I could hang up in the kids room.

I got out all my paints and paper, and sat the girl down.
At first she was reluctant, until I painted my hand and showed her what I had in mind.

Very quickly she decided she wanted to try, but then her two year old self took over, she grabbed the brush, and there was no way she was going to let me help her.

And there was no way she was making flowers or butterflies with her hand.
Nope, it was much more fun to paint her hand, and then her arm

A masterpiece..

She was fine as long as I didn't touch her or the paint brush.
In the end a bath was in order, and we ended up with this beauty...

Not one single hand print flower, but we made a memory :))
