He looked at me with those huge blue eyes and matter of factly said, " Yes, I want to thank God that He made the earth and everything in it, and that includes me."
More than a little surprised because that was not what I was expecting, and moved because he was so right, we stopped and praised God together.
Then I asked," What about today, is there something that happened today that you want to thank God for?"
"Oh yea, that I won all those balls in the claw machine, that was awesome."
Now that was more like what I had been expecting, but as we prayed again and thanked God for helping him win all those balls. I was reminded that The LORD who made heaven and earth cares about the "claw machines" that are important to me in my life. How Good God is.....
"Lord I lift up my hands and bless You. The Lord who made heaven and earth.
For I know that You are God and You are great, and can do whatever you please.
Thank you that when I call on You that you hear me.
And what is important to me is important to You.
Be exalted O God above the heavens,
And your glory above all the earth."
Psalms 134:23, 135:5,6,120:1, 108:5
